Catechists (Adults & Teens)
Many confirmed adults and confirmed teens are needed to share the love of God with our young people as catechists. Please consider sharing your gifts, talents, and faith as a catechist. Detailed lesson plans and all materials are provided. 2-3 hours a month (includes class prep) while classes are in session. Adults must complete a Protecting God’s Children Workshop to volunteer and teens must complete a Healthy Relationships Workshop to volunteer.
Classes are underway—but please contact the Religious Ed Office at Ext. 111 or by email if you would like to be placed in this programming.

Christian Family Movement/MFCC
A new ministry that helps couples and families pray together, grow as disciples and to become more involved in their parish! Small groups (offered in Spanish now, English in the future) gather to discuss materials, share, and pray together over the course of a few years, and these families then go and teach others.

Evangelization Committee
Meets a few times a year (September – June). Jesus told the Disciples: “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” The Church exists to evangelize. This group works on creative ways to Unleash the Gospel at St. Anastasia.
