Women’s Bible Study 1
Join us for our Thursday women’s bible study (previously Walking with Purpose). Women of all ages welcome, and children are always welcome to attend with their mothers.
The study begins September 26th and goes through the end of March (see schedule below) and meets Thursday mornings from 10:00 am until 11:30 am, or in the evening from 6:30 pm until 8:00 pm.
We have chosen a new study this year to draw us closer to the Eucharist and learn more about this beautiful gift and sacrament.
This year’s study will be compromised of two books, the first (in the fall) is Dwell, by Blessed is She and The second study (beginning in January) follows the St. Paul Center’s The Eucharist in Scripture Study.
Details and to sign up can be found on our website.
Women’s Bible Study 2
1st and 3rd Thursday (7 – 8:30 pm) beginning September 5 – “Discovering our Dignity” (a bible study highlighting women of the bible). We are reminded in our study that “God meets us where we are and takes us to where He wants us to be. If we come with an open heart, He promises to do a transforming work within us.” For info or to join: email Rose Marie or call 248-202-5833.
Romans: The Gospel of Salvation
Thursdays at 7 p.m., 2x/month beginning September 19. (8 sessions). Paul’s letter to the Romans has been at the center of reflection, conversion, and controversy from the time it was written. Presented by Andrew Swafford and Jeff Cavins, Romans: The Gospel of Salvation provides an authentically Catholic, comprehensive, and simple way to understand the overarching theme of Romans—salvation. Please email Dan Tardiff.
Men’s Catholic Fellowship (ongoing)
(Currently meeting on Zoom) The secular world makes it increasingly difficult for men to live out a life of Catholic virtue. Catholic peer groups can help us to apply our faith more strongly as husbands, fathers, friends, and workers. The group will ground itself by studying scripture and applying the teachings to current struggles. Men are invited to take turns leading discussion each week, focusing on what spoke most to them from the reading and applying it to home and work. We will meet each Wednesday morning before work – from 6:45 – 7:30 a.m. on Zoom. Join us for a study of Job, using an Ignatius Press guide. For more information, email Jeff Green.
Men’s Sunday Readings Discussion Group – Wednesday mornings (ongoing)
(Currently meeting on Zoom). You are invited to meet to discuss Scripture and its meaning in daily life. We try to reach a deeper understanding of each Sunday’s readings. Join us every Wednesday morning from 8 – 9 a.m. on Zoom. Optional materials fee, all year. Call Jim Kennedy for more information at 248-879-1982.
