These children need a loving family who will walk with them during a time of crisis and welcome them unconditionally into a temporary, caring home. Millions of children around the world are in need of a loving family. As a full-service agency, we offer infant adoption, international adoption, and foster care adoption. 30685 Barrington, Madison Heights, MI 48071

Matchan Soup Kitchen, SVDP

Christine Devine | (248) 408-1692

For a number of years, a group of people from our parish have assisted once a month at the Matchan Soup Kitchen in Pontiac. This center is operated by the St. Vincent de Paul Society and a number of churches offer their services to help in the preparation and serving of the NOON meal. This particular Soup Kitchen operates Tuesday and Thursday. The time commitment is from 8:30 a.m. (when they leave from Troy) until about 2:00 p.m. (when they return). A few hours a month to serve the poor and hungry would be a wonderful gift of giving. If you would like more information or are willing to volunteer as a substitute, please call Christine Devine 248.408.1692.
